Prayer Guide

LEARN TO
PRAY.

You do not need the right words

If you have ever felt like you are bad at praying, you are in good company. The disciples walked with Jesus for years and still asked Him to teach them how. Prayer is less about getting it right and more about showing up.

Here is a simple path you can walk in five minutes or fifty. Start anywhere. Come back tomorrow.

A simple way to pray

Five movements. Tap any one to see the prompts and the Scripture behind it.

Start with who God is

Before you ask for anything, say back to God what is true about Him. It reorders everything else.

  • God, you are good even when this week has not been.
  • Name one thing you know about God that you need to be true today.
  • Thank Him for being the Father who is already listening.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.Matthew 6:9
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6

Saturate Murfreesboro

Pray for our city, one day at a time

A week of prayer for the places our church actually touches. Pick today, and pray it on your commute.

Sunday
Our church

Pray for the room before you walk into it.

  • For the person walking in for the first time today.
  • For our pastors, our worship team, and everyone serving in RO KiDS.
  • That someone would meet Jesus in one of the three services.
How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity.Psalm 133:1

You do not have to pray alone.

Send us what you are carrying, or find a group where people will pray for you by name.
